We recently found an impromptu clan scrim against GG(asian characters), and we were, to be perfectly frank, spanked in a different language. One of the many lessons we were forced to learn is, we need tighter formations, especially with the vehicles - IFV's following tanks in the same spirit of formation as green dots - and another is that domination of the skies is a huge advantage. Rolling in a tank, feeling all invincible and hunting squishy sacks of meat, quickly turns to shit when one jet closely follows another in ramming rocket pods up your ass. Learning the helis and jets, and earning the experience and upgrades to gain the edge, is a great start; then we have the foundation to cement air/ground communication, to lay the hand of our Clown God on our hapless opponents! Ingame, if it's not an actual scrim or a particularly competitive game, the possibility of taking up a jet and probably crashing it is outweighed by the experience and skill gained that leads to the capable team-player in the seat you will eventually become. Ignore the whiners and keep taking to the skies, TGC needs flyers!

I could not agree more... Their tanks and air support were GROUPED simple as that, they attacked in teams of two rather it was a jet and chopper or tank and apc, bmp, type of deal.. Outside of scrims "untill I get much better" I will be stealing jets and choppers as much as possible. I want to put together a tank crew as well.. Simply put once I get a date for the Virgin tournament there will be a competitive team 1 announced meaning this team needs to start being competitive ass holes untill after tournament time. meaning we will need - 1 Class per player...
- figure out specialties "squad ammo, sprint, frag, etc"
- and vehicle each person is a specialist in. No I nor other brass dont wanna hear "I do em all well" i wanna here "I have mastered'
Have fun with it though, me and Amy were taking turns flying jets last night and we booth were having fun flying and yes crashing but in 3 take offs i learned lots in that jet.

I agree we need more synergy between infantry, vehicles, and air power. I've been trying to fly more. Just got the air radar for the jet, which helps a lot in dog fights. Still get spanked by some pilots though. It helps a lot if someone on the ground spots vehicles (including air vehicles) so I can see it in the air and plot my strafing run. Also, was in the chopper with Azurikt last night, he's pretty good pilot.

Azurikt and I are a VERY effictive chopper combo. he can attest to that. We also work very well in tanks with him spotting for my guided missile. I am (not to be cocky) a damn good tank driver. I almost always run squad ammo. if needed, i will run somethin else. It doesnt bother me what perk i use. I dont think I am a "master" of any class. I am pretty well between Recon and Assault. dont have an engineer service star yet, but have 2 for Recon and almost 6 for assault, so you can see what that says. I am working on a service star for all weapons I can manage, just so I have most attachments for whatever situation arises. Ill let you tell me what you want me to run tho beast
